Candidate will assist the head coach in all phases of the basketball program including, but not limited to, recruiting,

organization of practice and competition, scouting, scheduling, fundraising, video and technical support, camps, and

supervision of academic progress.

Student Life Fellow:

Summary

The student life office encompasses dean of students, residential life, transportation, athletics, all after-school activities, clubs, weekend activities, student leadership for boarding and day students, and evening programming for students.

Responsibilities

Assist and/or coach 3 seasons of after school clubs/sports

• Participating in the weekend team duty (one weekend every four weeks being the norm)
• Supervising student dorm rooms and/or study hall one to two evenings a week
• Other duties as assigned (Vacation Driver, Testing Site Administrator…)
• Planning and executing various student life events (i.e. Spartans/Athenians competitions, athletic contest preparation, Nottingham Open, Prom, community service opportunities)

• Sharing main meals with students on duty nights.

• Act as a co-advisor for 6-8 students.
• Attending certain programmatic school events such as Convocation, Nottingham Open, Parent’s Weekend, Christmas at Nottingham, Annual Fundraiser, Commencement, test preparation, etc. whether these are held during the week or on weekends
• Bachelor’s Degree/4 year Degree
• Communication Skills at all levels
• Ability to be flexible week and weekends
