| Description: | Widener University’s Men’s Basketball Coach and Office of Athletics seeks a part-time Assistant
for Men’s Basketball to be responsible for program duties under the direct supervision of the
Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The Assistant’s duties will include; adherence to all NCAA and
University guidelines, assist with team practice sessions and game contests; assist with
counseling student-athletes on academic, individual, and team goals; assist with recruiting
potential student-athletes; attending HS basketball showcases, events and games; assist in public
relations and fund raising activities; and other assignments as required.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license. Preference will
be given to candidates who have experience in Men’s basketball operations at the high school
level and/or college level.
