Description:	Provide support to the head coach with all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program during pre-season, season and off-season periods Recruit, retain and graduate successful student-athletes for the Academy of Art University and the Men’s Basketball program Provide support with the individual player performance evaluation process Develop a competitive regional NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball schedule Provide support with the recruiting program Supervise athletes during practice, travel to and from competition, and during competition Perform proper maintenance and repair of equipment Speak to alumni, organizations, high schools, and other groups to promote the Men’s Basketball and athletic programs at the Academy of Art University Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and commitment to follow NCAA and Pacific West Conference rules and regulations Operate Academy and/or rental vehicle(s) in the course of completing the above-referenced job duties and observe all applicable federal and state motor vehicle laws Maintain valid California driver’s license and insurability under AAU carrier Perform other duties relevant to the position of Assistant Coach, Men’s Basketball
