Post Grad Basketball program for student athletes looking to Grow and develop on the basketball court and in the classroom while using skills to earn a scholarship to a 4 year university.

This is a STIPEND position for an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Bay Area Academy Located in Lakeland FL, The responsibilities of the Assistant Coach is to help lead the day-to-day operations and coaching of a Post Graduate program that includes but are not limited to the following:

• Regional/ National Recruiting
• Experience playing and/or coaching basketball at the high school or college level
• Student-athlete development
• Assist in enhancing the student-athlete experience
• Scouting, video analysis and breakdown
• Scheduling, practice schedule, team outreach.
• In match and game day management.
• Assist in daily program operations
• Team academic liaison.
• Strength and conditioning liaison.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to evaluate video and provide written feedback to players and staff
• Other administrative duties as assigned
• Valid Drivers License

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for the sport of basketball.

Compensation:

Team meals, accommodations and monthly stipend

Contract Term:

Aug 2024- April 2025 (Option to extend based on performance)
