Assist the Head Coach with implementation of the operating program, including coaching, mentoring and training student-athletes who are highly skilled in their sport and who are also trying to be successful in their academic studies. This position is responsible for ensuring the head coaches objective for student-athletes in athletic and academic success which includes coaching, mentoring, guiding, instructing and training student-athletes are met. This requires the assistant to instruct and mentor athletes both on and off the playing field and court.
