Erie Prep Academy in Erie, PA is accepting applications for the assistant men’s prep basketball coach.

This position will work directly with our National Prep Team and under the Head Coach. This is an entry level position that will allow coaches to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. The Assistant Coach will be challenged to problem solve, mentor, demonstrate leadership, plan activities and have a flexible schedule. This opportunity will give the coaches the coaching and operations experience necessary to work in the basketball industry.

Primary duties will include:

• Housing supervision
• Filming/Video Breakdown
• On court instruction
• Individual skill development
• Statistics
• Execute with practices and games
• Equipment Management
• Transportation
• Daily Basketball Operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University
• Previous experience working in College/High School Athletics
• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former college basketball Player or Manager
• Previous Coaching experience
• Desire to work in College/High School athletics
