Description: | Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head Coach Basketball Program, Director of Athletics, the Assistant Coach of the Feltrim Academy Postgraduate Basketball Program will be responsible for assisting in coaching men’s postgraduate basketball program for the 2022-2023 season. This position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in coaching, recruiting, placement of players at the next level scouting, practice preparation, game day coaching, fund raising, academic monitoring, travel and public relations endeavors as assigned by the Head Coach. Applicant must live in “basketball house” and assist in house supervision of teams. Bachelor’s degree and prior basketball coaching experience required. This position is open until filled. Description Maintain records of all purchases. scouting, practice planning, game preparation, conduct strength and conditioning program, away game travel, home game preparation, recruiting future student-athletes, assisting with practice, conducting player development sessions, assisting in day-to-day operations of the program, planning for travel and team activities, assisting in recruitment and marketability of players, assisting in college academic preparation of players, safely driving the vans, conducting film/videography sessions, supporting discipline and rules/regulations, consistently communicating with college coaches, assisting with placing players at the collegiate level, assisting with NCAA Eligibility Center and compliance obligations. Develop a recruitment plan and actively recruit student-athletes. Travel and work a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the program. Perform all other duties as assigned by Head Coach. Requirements A bachelor’s degree and a 3-5 year record of successful coaching in the sport of basketball with an emphasis on recruiting, teaching, coaching, and athletic leadership. The applicant should have a working knowledge of NCAA/NAIA rules and regulations and have strong oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and be a good ambassador of the program. This position will require the candidate to communicate within the community as well those outside that community. Valid USA driver’s license and ability to be legally employed in USA. Position Type Contract September 2022 to March 2023. Salary Housing, meals, and $1,500 a month stipend. Physical Demands and Work Environment High energy environment that requires a significant amount physical conditioning and endurance to execute programs properly.
