Impact Christian Academy is seeking an Assistant Coach with a passion for basketball and student mentorship to join our team. This is a full-time, live-in position that offers the opportunity to work in a highly competitive athletic environment while contributing to a vibrant private Christian school community.

Position Overview

The Assistant Coach directly with the Athletic Director and Director of Basketball Operations, supporting all aspects of our nationally competitive boys basketball program. In addition to basketball responsibilities, candidate will play a key role in the school’s residential life program, serving as a mentor and leader for students on campus.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with on-court player development, practice planning, game preparation, scouting, and film breakdown

Support game day operations, team travel, and basketball logistics

Provide mentorship and guidance to a select group of student-athletes

Promote and uphold the mission and values of Impact Christian Academy on and off the court

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

Coaching experience at the high school, club (AAU), or collegiate level

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Commitment to Christian education and character development

Eagerness to invest in both athletic and academic growth of students
