1. Assists the head coach in teaching appropriate skills to the athletes.
2. Assists with the issuance and collection of uniforms and other athletic material.
3. Assists with the recruitment of athletes.
4. Scouts opponents.
5. Provides appropriate transportation for the athletic team.
6. Assists the head coach in the development and implementation of game plans.
7. Evaluates team personnel, as well as individual and team performance
8. Evaluates sport season.
9. Conducts practice and training sessions with and without the head coach.
10.Maintains appropriate records and statistics.
11.Maintains current certifications in Standard First Aid and CPR.
12.Performs other professional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred
• One year coaching experience at the high school or college level or possess a current coaching certificate or held a leadership role on a basketball team
• Participated in basketball on a club, high school or intercollegiate level
• Current, valid auto driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Current CPR and First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain
• Good written, oral and interpersonal skills
