Moravian Prep National Team Assistant – position to start immediately

This position will work directly with our Boys High School and Post-grad basketball teams. This is an entry level position that will allow coaches to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. Assistant coaches will be challenged to problem solve, mentor, demonstrate leadership, plan activities and have a flexible schedule. Assistant coaches will have the opportunity to gain the coaching and operational experience necessary to work in the college basketball industry. This position will report directly to the head coach of its individual program.

Primary duties will include:

• • Housing supervision (Dorms)

  • Filming / Video Breakdown

• On court instruction

• Individual skill development

• Statistics

• Assist head coaches with practices and games

• Equipment Management

• Transportation

• Daily Basketball Operations

• Social Media

• College Placement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University

• Previous experience working in College/High School Athletics

• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former college basketball players or managers

• Previous coaching or operations experience

• Desire to work in college or high school athletics

• Experience using video breakdown software such as Hudl and/or synergy
