This position is a part-time, ten-month position.
Primary assistant coach responsibilities will include: recruiting, scouting, film exchange, as well as day to day basketball operations. This position will also have the responsibility in assisting the head coach with preparing and conducting practices, off season workouts and other athletic department administrative activities. There will furthermore be some administrative duties within the athletics department pertaining to facilities, schedules, event management, and more.
An ideal candidate will have had playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level. He/She should have an understanding of college athletics, an inherent ability to build relationships, a passion for the game of basketball, and maintain high moral values.
