Provides on floor coaching during practice and basketball games; assists the head coach with practices and game strategies. Scouts opponent’s game film; assists in the development of the Student-athlete on and off the basketball court. Oversees the men’s basketball equipment and organizes the equipment room. Recruits, hires, and supervises student managers for the basketball team. Assists the head coach with recruiting potential Student-Athletes that meet Savannah State University, NCAA, and Mid-Eastern Athletics rules and procedures. Serves as director of basketball camps during the summer months; performs related duties as required or directed by the Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
