The University of Colorado has an opening for an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach in the Athletics department. The purpose of this position is to assist in the management of the men’s basketball program including coaching, recruiting, public and community relations, and camps. The position primarily works on coaching enrolled student-athletes and recruiting prospective student-athletes. The position will have responsibility for organizing and directing recruiting in a specific geographic or a specific on-court position, including evaluation of academic and athletic talent, correspondence and contact with recruits, their families, coaches and school counselors, arrangement of campus visits, and management of the admissions/certification process with department and campus staff for specific recruits.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Basketball playing or coaching experience on at the Collegiate, Professional or National team level.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to use various forms of office equipment, execute basketball skills at a reasonable level, and be able to travel.
