STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Game Footage and Website content and Recruiting Video (percentage of time: 80)

• Oversee production of instructional material for student-athletes, including management of game footage, including shooting and editing, for evaluation and instruction of coaching staff and team. Maintain working knowledge of scouting, recruiting and video software. Coordinate with coaching staff to organize and produce scouting tapes for recruiting purposes.
• Manage film exchange process with common opponents
• Capture, create, control and maintain all content for recruiting website including video and other multimedia and social media content
• Annually organize and coordinate the Men’s Basketball summer camp program, a series of multi-day events for individuals, teams, and parent-child programs for those interested in Illinois Men’s Basketball

Video Staff Oversight: (percentage of time: 20)

• Direct and oversee all duties and responsibilities regarding basketball video game analysis, including coordinating staff schedules, hire and select members of video staff, assign and evaluate work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree in sports management, kinesiology, recreation or related field

Experience: Required: Minimum two years of collegiate coaching experience at any level or relevant administrative experience

Preferred: Experience with Division I intercollegiate athletics preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Maintain knowledge of and compliance with, specific NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and institution rules that relate to this position.
• Knowledge of HUDL editing system and Synergy
