QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree (at time of appointment) in a related field. Proven record of current success in coaching Men’s Basketball at the college level. Proven record of successfully recruiting college level academically and athletically prepared student-athletes. Proven record of adherence to all NCAA academic and compliance regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree. Successful Assistant coaching experience at the NCAA Division I or Division II level.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for all aspects related to assisting the head coach with conducting practices and games, working on individual player development, supervising pre-season and conditioning programs, assisting with recruiting and contacting propsective student-athletes and promoting and maintaining positive public relations.
