Sunrise Christian Academy is launching a program for aspiring collegiate basketball coaches for an entry level position at SCA. The program will demand individuals who are motivated and eager to work with high school aged players seeking NCAA D1 scholarships. This position will encompass a variety of duties at SCA to assist the basketball staff including: skill development, practice planning and participation, scouting, filming, travel arrangements, daily transportation needs, study hall monitoring, and more.  Individuals must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays to assist in operations. The position will prepare aspiring coaches for a variety of opportunities here, and beyond SCA. The position will provide housing and food for a 10 month contract worth $6,000, but will not be a paid position. With success in this program, individuals may have the opportunity for paid employment at SCA after the 10 month contract.

Requirements: 4 year college degree,  2 year coaching experience required at any level, college basketball experience preferred (either playing, managing, or coaching)
