As a thriving, student-centered college with graduation rates double the national two-year college average and triple the Massachusetts two-year college average, Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology seeks an innovative and highly motivated Assistant Basketball Coach to help lead the College’s NJCAA Division III newly recreated basketball program.

 

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Recruitment of student athletes
  • On court coaching
  • Scouting opponents
  • Monitoring academic success
  • Team travel

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Coaching and/or playing experience at the college or high school level
  • Experience with the recruitment of student-athletes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to pay special attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a criminal background check are required
