The assistant men’s basketball coach will report directly to the head men’s basketball coach and is directly responsible for the following duties:

1. Direct support of the vision, goals and strategies of the head coach
2. Serves as a teacher in practice and competition with respect to individual and team skill development for the men’s basketball program.
3. Is certified to recruit high caliber student-athletes to attend and compete for the university.
4. Supervises practice, skill sessions, study hall and team travel under the supervision of the head coach.
5. Serves as a mentor and positive influence on the student-athletes in the men’s basketball program
6. Coordinates administrative responsibilities as delegated by the head coach.
7. Travels on occasion representing the college at various functions and events.
8. Assists and is directly involved in the monitoring of classroom participation and attendance for all student-athletes with in the men’s basketball program.
9. Any other-duties as assigned by the head coach.
