JOB SUMMARY:

• Primarily reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach helps in the overall administration of the varsity basketball team by providing instruction and direction to student-athletes. Consistent with the educational philosophy of the Athletics Department, the Assistant Coach recognizes his/her primary responsibility as an educator, and works with the student-athletes to enhance their overall growth and development.
• Assisting in establishing team goals for season and insure that they are in line with those of the entire BMCC Basketball Program.
• Responsible for recruiting and training eligible players, organizing, implementing, coordinating and supervising all aspects of the basketball program and for attending all practices and games.
