Responsibilities include player development, recruiting, film breakdown, fundraising, and assisting with the monitoring of academics.

Prerequisite Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and previous college coaching/playing experience.

Must demonstrate an attitude and behavior that reflects the values and mission of the department and University. The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach will also perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Ability to motivate and lead student athletes toward competitive and academic success.

Ability to recruit student-athletes.

Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends.

Ability to work with high school and junior college coaches.

Ability to manage administrative tasks related to the operation of college level team sports

Strong verbal and written communications skills.
