Clark University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) is seeking applications for a Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach. Responsibilities of Assistant Coach will include, but are not limited to, recruitment of qualified student-athletes, on-court instruction for practice and games, scouting opponents and game film preparation, camp organization and direction, along with other assigned duties. Successful candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain professional conduct while acting as a role model for the student-athletes.

Job Qualifications:
– One or more years coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level; collegiate playing and/or managerial experience is preferred but not required.
– Ability to evaluate, recruit and develop relationships with prospective student-athletes and their families within NCAA Division III and NEWMAC rules & regulations.
– Strong organizational, writing, interpersonal, oral communication, and computer skills needed.
– Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, video editing software, Adobe Photoshop and social media preferred.
– Commitment to the student-athlete, passion for the game, and ability to coach and motivate.
