The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for providing leadership, organization and supervision to assist in the management of Graceland University’s men’s basketball program.

The incumbent will motivate and lead student athletes to both academic and athletic success, recruit student athletes, assist with administrative functions, support management of the program and adhere to NAIA Division I and Heart of America Conference rules and regulations. The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach will also perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Ability to motivate and lead student athletes toward competitive and academic success.
*Ability to recruit student-athletes.
*Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends.
*Ability to work with high school and junior college coaches.
*Ability to manage administrative tasks related to the operation of college level team sports
*Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Video Scouting Breakdown, Player Development, Practice Preparation and Execution, On Floor Coaching, Opponent Scouting, Recruiting.
