Description:

Hampden-Sydney is a private liberal arts college located in central Virginia.  We are a division III school in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.  The program has strong tradition and has participated in 14 NCAA tournaments and has won 10 ODAC tournament championships.  Twice the program has advanced to the Final Four losing in double overtime in the 1999 National Championship game.  H-SC is also well known for its large and successful coaching tree including Coach Shaver at the College of William and Mary and Coach Turner at the University of California at Irvine.

We are accepting applications for an assistant coaching position.  The candidate will be required to assist the head coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: player coaching/development, strength/conditioning, film breakdown, recruiting, academic monitoring, community relations, scouting of opponents, and coaching the junior varsity team. Responsibilities will be in accordance with specific strengths of the applicant and the employee must be NCAA compliant.

Minimum requirements: undergraduate degree

Preferred credentials include coaching experience, college or high school participant as a player or as a manager.
