Description:	Howard College Men’s Basketball Program is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. This position is ideal for an aspiring coach looking to gain experience at the NJCAA Division I level while working within one of the premier junior college conferences in the country. Responsibilities include: Responsibilities Assist with daily practice preparation and on-court instruction Support player development workouts Assist with scouting reports, film breakdown, and game preparation Help coordinate team travel and logistics Assist with recruiting and player evaluations Monitor academic progress and support student-athlete success Help manage team equipment and practice operations Represent the program and college professionally at all times Qualifications Previous basketball playing and/or coaching experience preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn High energy and positive attitude Ability to build relationships with student-athletes Knowledge of basketball fundamentals, skill development, and team concepts Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed Preferred Qualifications Collegiate playing or coaching experience Experience with video editing platforms such as Synergy Strength and conditioning/Player Development background is a plus Compensation This is a volunteer position.
