Langston University men’s basketball program is
accepting applications for an assistant coach. This is a full-time
appointment with benefits. Langston competes in the very competitive
Sooner Athletic Conference. 3 to 5 years of college coaching
experience required.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Academic monitoring including study halls, class checks and grade
sheets. Recording and uploading game film – Synergy experience
required. Coaching including practice, game and individual workouts.
Assist in organization and planning of practices and player
development. Preseason conditioning program and coordination with
strength and conditioning coach regarding weight program. All aspects
of recruiting both on and off campus. Equipment care, travel
preparation and supervise student managers. Travel arrangements on
and off campus including meals. Monitor players social media and
produce content when required. Coordinate and help with fundraising
activities. Adhere to all rules of Langston University, Sooner Athletic
Conference and the NAIA. Administrative duties assigned by the head
coach and/or athletic administration.
