The Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball will be responsible for working under the guidance of Head Coach, Tom Church, in a manner that is consistent with goals of the program and the policies and procedures of Northwood University. The Assistant Coach will have responsibilities that require an ability to be in the office during normal work hours and the ability to travel as needed, including weekends.

The Assistant Coach will be expected to help in all areas of the program, including Practice, Workouts, Scouting, Recruiting, Database Management, Travel Planning, Community Outreach, Camp & Fundraising efforts, Academic Monitoring, and Compliance Requirements.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University.
• An ability to live in/around Midland, MI & be present in the office.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Prior coaching experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules & regulations at the Division II level.
• A strong interest In pursuing a career in college basketball.
• Excellent communication skills and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, as well as Google Sheets
