Redlands Community College (RCC), a member of the NJCAA Division 1 Region 2, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week and may include housing. This position reports directly to the Head Coach for Men’s Basketball and is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: 1) Recruiting – Coordinate campus tours, overnight visits and workouts. Attending High School and Prep Schools games and/or practices. Go to showcases in Oklahoma and Out-of-State. 2) Scouting opponents. 3) Game Day – Supervise game stats, coordinate filming and streaming games, pre-game roster certification, post-game equipment and gear verification. 4) Social Media updates. Requirements include working knowledge of the NJCAA Rules and Regulations; Previous coaching experience, High School and/or College coaching experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
