The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting the development, coaching, organization and management of the Men’s Basketball program.  In addition, this position is responsible for assisting with the recruitment of prospective student-athletes and retention of current team members.  Primarily responsible for player development, under supervision of the Head Coach, the candidate must develop training methods to improve the overall skill development of players.  Assist in game scouting of opponents and assist the Head Coach in preparation of game plan for all opponents. Imperative that the candidate believes in the mission statement of the University and the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. Any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletic Director. Bachelor’s degree required.

The successful candidate must also possess:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Recruiting experience
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
• Computer and video editing proficiency
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
