Do you have a passion for coaching and developing student-athletes? If so, we have the job for you! Shaw University is looking for an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. This is a Full-time benefits-eligible position. Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach provides assistance to the Head Coach in order to run a successful basketball program. The Assistant Coach mentors student-athletes to help them reach their full potential on and off the field; help build a program that the University, students, alumni, and community can be proud of. This position will assist in the recruiting of potential student-athletes and provide complementary management of the program including practice, competitions, travel, purchasing and other duties as assigned. The Assistant Coach assists in the overall management of the programs as directed by the head coach (travel, practice, competition, etc.) but will have specific responsibilities in athletics also as directed by the Head Coach.
