Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) Intercollegiate Athletics is currently seeking an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball team.

Reporting to the Head Coach and Director of Athletics, the Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball aides the Head Coach with organization of practices, recruitment, team travel, fund raising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics. The selected candidate must subscribe to the SIUE Principles Governing Athletics and comply with all University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Other duties include work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel; support the student-athlete concept; and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.

Fully certified at the Division I level by the NCAA, SIUE is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference and the Mid-American Conference (MAC) (men’s soccer & wrestling).
