The Fredonia State Men’s Basketball program is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and relationship-driven Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach to join our staff. This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring coach who is passionate about player development, leadership, and building a championship culture. 

We are looking for someone who values character as much as talent and wants to help build a NCAA Division III basketball program. 

Responsibilities 

The Assistant Coach will play a vital role in all aspects of the program, including: 

• Assisting with practice planning and player skill development 
• Individual player workouts and film study 
• Opponent scouting and game preparation 
• Game day coaching responsibilities 
• Academic monitoring and student-athlete support 
• Team travel coordination and logistics 
• Equipment and practice operations 
• Social media content creation and program branding 
• Alumni engagement and fundraising initiatives 
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
