Description: | Reporting to the Head Coach Men’s Basketball, the Assistant Coach will assist in developing, organizing and administering all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball team. This is a four (4) month, part-time position. Responsibilities include:
The Assistant Coach is responsible for compliance with the Title IX, NCAA, Skyline Conference and SUNY Old Westbury rules and regulations. The successful candidate should have experience with multicultural student body populations. SUNY Old Westbury serves large populations of underrepresented, first-generation, and non-traditional students. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated basketball coaching experience at the college, high school, club or travel level with success. Must have and maintain the appropriate valid NYS driver’s license and have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations.
