The Department of Athletics at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach at the rank of Adjunct Lecturer.  Applications will be kept on file in the Department for consideration for two years.  Expectations include developing exemplary scholar-athletes who strive for competitive excellence, academic achievement, and a commitment to service.   SUNY Oneonta is a comprehensive, public, liberal arts and sciences institution. Duties include but not limited to:  recruiting, scouting, public relations efforts, team travel arrangements, fund-raising efforts, practice preparation, game preparation, monitoring the academic progress of the team student-athletes, and coordinating team community service activities.

 

Required qualifications:  bachelor’s degree and appropriate college coaching and/or playing experience.

 

Preferred:  experience working with and serving diverse populations.
