Thomas College is a NCAA Division III school and a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC).
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual for the position of Assistant Men’s
Basketball Coach. This is a part-time, hourly position that will be under the supervision of the
Head Men’s Basketball Coach, and aid in the leadership of all coaching. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Coach with coaching practices and games,
recruitment and retention of students, and compliance with the NCAA Division III and NAC
rules and regulations.
Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the sport of basketball and its playing rules; ability to
foster a team environment; demonstrate coaching skills in sport of basketball; knowledge of
travel, lodging, planning, and scheduling; a commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy of
athletics, sufficient knowledge of NCAA and NAC rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree with previous collegiate playing experience required or previous coaching
experience preferred.
