The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting with various team operations such as recruiting, player management, overseeing laundry, academic monitoring, advising & counseling office, promotion activities, and any administrative duties of the Men’s Basketball program as assigned by the Head Coach. This position is responsible for conducting any duties or activities with integrity and within the rules of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), the Southland Conference, University of The Incarnate Word, and the UIW Athletics Department.

Must exhibit good judgment in advising and counseling student-athletes.
Be able to identify and participate in resolution of departmental/institutional problems with continuous quality improvement as a goal.
Enhance team effectiveness through dependability.

Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
