Under direct supervision of the Head Basketball Coach, to assist with coaching of the Men’s Basketball team and all facets of the Men’s Basketball program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment of student athletes: maintain up-to-date files of prospective students; evaluate athletic performance and potential; meet with prospective students.
• Provide players with skill development, video analysis and opponent scouting
• Assist with social media, team graphics
• Maintain strict compliance with all college, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate documents, such as travel expense statements, itineraries, etc. 
• Participate in various camp duties, athletic advertising and fundraising efforts
• Assist in monitoring academic progress towards graduation for men’s basketball student athletes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Certifications appropriate to the relevant sport, division, or other regulating agency.
• High school or college coaching experience, with collegiate playing experience desirable, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Basic knowledge and skills related to college athletic programs, with demonstrated skills in assigned team sports.
• Demonstrated basic teaching/coaching skills.
• The ideal candidate will display a high-level work ethic, and a strong desire to improve and to advance within the college coaching profession.

This paid position includes a $15,000-18,000 stipend. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
