The University of the Cumberlands located in Williamsburg, Ky., is currently seeking an individual for the position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Cumberlands is a member of the Mid-South Conference and the NAIA. The candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recruiting, player development, scheduling, budgets, and practice preparation. The assistant coach will adhere to the NAIA guidelines and regulations, while exhibiting behavior that represents a positive image of the athletic program and the university.

Bachelor’s degree required. Candidates must have integrity and leadership skills, strong organizational and communication skills, be attentive to details, have the ability to lead and work independently as well as within a team environment, maintain confidentiality, show initiative, handle frequent interruptions and manage multiple projects while keeping an organized workflow. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a diverse work environment, collaborate with colleagues and mentor and lead student-athletes. All candidates must have a clean driving record.
