Vermilion Community College, soon to be Minnesota North College – Vermillion, has an opening for a men’s basketball assistant coach. The assistant coach will assist the head coach with all aspects of the program in accordance with NJCAA and College rules, including but not limited to:

• Assist with organizing, preparing and conducting workouts and practices, weight sessions, trainings and competition.
• Manage all video edition operations and assisting the head coach with scouting reports.
• Assists in academic monitoring of student-athletes, including grade checks and study hall supervision.
• Plan and assist in team fundraising activities.
• Create individual player development plans.
• Assist in managing and maintaining all equipment essential to the program.
• Other duties as assigned

Educational Experience:

Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred.
