| Description: | DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach position is a part-time position for Wabash Valley College’s men’s basketball program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with coaching (including practices), weight training, recruiting, monitoring the eligibility, academic progress, and retention of student athletes, compliance to the NJCAA and institutional regulations, care, maintenance and inventory of facilities and equipment, and fundraising. QUALIFICATIONS: Successful basketball coaching and/or competitive experience strongly preferred; valid Driver’s License and CPR/AED certification are required. The position requires excellent public relations, fund raising, organization, and interpersonal skills. |
