Washington College, a NCAA Division III institution located in Chestertown, MD seeks qualified applicants for a Part-Time Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Washington College is a member of the Centennial Conference.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following; identify, recruit, coach and develop high-level athletes for the program; organize official and unofficial visits; assist with practice and game preparations and planning travel itineraries; assist the head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring, fundraising, game management and scheduling; and other administrative duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required along with past competitive and/or coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Valid driver’s license required as travel is necessary for the position. Strong organizational, oral, written, teaching and computer skills required. Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred.

*This position will run from January 25 – June 30, 2021, and has the possibility to roll into a full time position after June 30, 2021.
