Description:

QUALIFICATIONS: Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience preferred.  Candidates must possess strong organizational, communication and computer skills, familiarity with a variety of software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, Adobe Professional, Front Rush, Slate, Synergy etc.; the availability to work evenings, Sundays and weekends and to work independently to meet deadlines.  Ability to effectively communicate with prospective students from point of inquiry through enrollment, as well as coordinate with the Pathways Center for student growth through internships, employment opportunities and overall professional development.  Candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills and have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with various constituent groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Develops, plans and organizes programs for maintaining and purchasing athletic equipment for all university sport teams.  Coordinates with coaches to determine team’s equipment needs and variations or design of new uniforms.  Maintains inventory of all sporting equipment and supplies.  Primary Equipment Manager for Football which includes: getting equipment ready for practice/games and attendance at all games to assist with in-game equipment issues on the sideline.  Monitor student-workers and maintain all laundry duties for the athletic teams.  Coordinate recruiting efforts including but not limited to: communication with prospective student-athlete and Office of Admissions, securing and being present for on campus visits, travel for off campus evaluation of prospective student-athletes, maintaining accurate records on Front Rush recruiting platform and directing Elite Camp.  On floor coaching including but not limited to: individual skill development and providing insight and to implement strategies during practices and in games.  Film editing of practice and games to be shown to coaching staff and team.  Uploading and downloading film using Synergy and completion of scouting reports of opponents.  Coordination of team travel and meals, communication with alumni network and implementing fundraising strategies.  Organization of equipment and inventory.  Head coach of developmental team.  Supervision of second athletic program and/or secondary duty as assigned by Director of Athletics.
