Whatcom Community College welcomes applications for an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. The Assistant Basketball Coach will
assist the head coach with all aspects of the program in accordance with NWAC and WCC College rules.

Include but are not limited to:

• Assist with organizing, preparing and conducting workouts and practices, weight sessions, trainings, and competition.
• Manage all video edition operations and assisting the head coach with scouting reports.
• Assists in academic monitoring of student-athletes, including grade checks and study hall supervision.
• Plan and assist in team fundraising activities.
• Create individual player development plans.
• Assist in managing and maintaining all equipment essential to the program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

Salary and Appointment:

• $3,000 stipend.

Start Date:

• As soon as one can be arranged with the successful candidate.
