Wilkes University invites applicants for an Assistant Men’s Basketball/Director of Intramurals in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This is a full-time, 12-month administrative staff position reporting to the Athletics Director and the Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

The successful candidate is responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of the men’s basketball program including recruiting, practice and game management, player development, and academic monitoring. The successful candidate also will be responsible for administering a robust campus-wide intramurals program. This candidate must hire, train, and supervise the student intramurals operations staff.

A Bachelor’s degree is required and Master’s degree is preferred.  The ideal candidate will have prior collegiate playing and coaching experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA and Landmark Conference rules are required as is a commitment to the Division III philosophy.
