To assist the head coach in maintaining a highly competitive Division I men’s basketball program to include overseeing the recruitment process of prospective student-athletes, practice and game coaching, fundraising, supervising assistant coaches and administrative personnel in the office, and to act as a liaison between the student-athletes and academic support staff to ensure academic compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of four years of coaching experience and a thorough knowledge of recruiting practices and NCAA regulations. Previous experience with budgeting procedures, strong communication skills and prior experience in a supervisory role are recommended. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Travel is required.
