Job Summary:

Directs the recruiting activities of the Clemson Men’s Basketball program to ensure top prospects are familiar with and constantly informed about the Clemson brand, Clemson University, and Clemson Basketball. Supports the Men’s Basketball staff and student-athletes to achieve success on the court and in the classroom.

JOB FUNCTION:

Recruiting Oversight: – E/50%
– Oversees all recruiting operations outside of evaluations.
– Ensures the recruiting plan is executed on a daily basis.
– Develops and communicates an annual recruiting plan for all recruiting periods.
– Maintains and regularly updates public high school varsity basketball coach’s list, private high school coach’s list, and AAU coach’s list in the states of SC, NC, GA, FL, TN, AL, VA, and DC.
– Plans and creates unique visit experience for prospective student-athletes for official and unofficial visits.
– Organizes and executes all recruiting ticket requests for Football and Basketball.

Recruiting Communications: E/25%
– Directs recruiting communication to ensure top priority prospective student-athletes and their constituents are being presented with information about some aspect of Clemson Basketball daily.
– Develops and directs the development of multimedia content to distribute via social media outlets for prospective student-athletes as well external constituents of the Clemson Basketball program.

Head Coach Support: E/10%
– Complete special recruiting and research projects as assigned by the Head Coach.
– Assist the Head Coach with duties as needed.

Operations Support: E/10%
– Provide operations support relative to player management in the areas of academics, housing, financial aid, and parking.
– Assist the Director of Basketball Operations with duties as needed.

Video Support: E/5%
– Provide video support to coaching staff and student-athletes.
– Assist the Director of Men’s Basketball Video with duties as needed.
