Job Summary: 

We are looking for skilled and passionate Basketball Coaches to join our team in  China. The Basketball Coach will be responsible for developing players’ skills,  fostering teamwork, and promoting a love for the sport among students. This role  involves creating and implementing effective practice sessions, managing team  strategy, and mentoring players to improve both their game performance and  personal development.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field  (preferred).
• Proven experience in basketball coaching at the school, college, or club  level.
• Strong knowledge of basketball skills, strategies, and training techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on  mentorship and player development.
• Ability to adapt to the cultural and educational context of China and work  effectively with diverse student groups.
• Candidates from the United States are preferred
• Non-Criminal Records Check

Compensation: 

Successful candidates can expect to earn a minimum of $30 000-35 000 USD  annually. Salary packages include a base salary and a per lesson rate. Benefits  packages typically include airfare and housing allowances, full coverage of the visa  process, international medical insurance, a daily meal allowance, paid holidays,  and working in high quality facilities.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Plan, organize, and conduct basketball practice sessions and drills focused  on skill development, strategy, and teamwork
• Develop training programs tailored to players’ skill levels and the team’s  competitive objectives
• Teach fundamental and advanced basketball techniques, emphasizing  sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork
• Evaluate player performance, provide constructive feedback, and set  individual and team goals
• Lead the team during games and tournaments, ensuring player safety and  promoting a positive competitive spirit
• Collaborate with school staff, athletic directors, and parents to foster an  inclusive and supportive environment
