Description:	Camp Chipinaw is looking for experienced basketball instructors for the Summer of 2021. Chipinaw is a Co-ed residential children’s summer camp located in the Catskill Mountains of New York. We offer an all-around program and look to hire energetic and positive staff from around the US and across the world. Take part in an unforgettable summer experience and join the team! Job Summary As a basketball instructor you will help plan and run 6 – 50 minute sessions each day. Your lesson plans will consist of fun drills, creative games, and upbeat classes. You will also be responsible for refereeing games, helping run tournaments, coaching inter camp and tournament teams, and maintaining the basketball courts. Basketball staff, dependant on age, will also be bunk counselors. You will get to experience all that camp has to offer in a mentor type role. Campers range from ages 7-16, with skill levels varying. You will be working with both girls and boys. Be ready to have the summer of your life in a fast paced, fun environment. Dates: June 17th – August 15th Qualifications and Skills Upbeat, positive attitude Prior coaching experience is preferred. Playing experience is required Flexible, hard working, & energetic Salary & Perks Salary: $2,000 – $3,000 for basketball counselor for 2 month contract Travel Stipend Room and Board provided Resume builder for young potential coaches
