DME Sports Academy in Daytona Beach, FL is accepting applications for Basketball Intern.

This position will work directly with Boys and Girls High School and Post-grad basketball teams. This is an entry level position that will allow interns to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. Interns will be challenged to problem solve, mentor, demonstrate leadership, plan activities and have a flexible schedule. This opportunity will give Interns the coaching and operations experience necessary to work in the basketball industry.

Primary duties will include:

• Housing supervision
• Filming/Video Breakdown
• On court instruction
• Individual skill development
• Statistics
• Assist head coaches with practices and games
• Equipment Management
• Transportation
• Daily Basketball Operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University
• Previous experience working in College/High School Athletics
• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former college basketball Player or Manager
• Previous Coaching experience
• Desire to work in College/High School athletics
• Experience using Video Breakdown software such as Hudl or Krossover
