The Basketball Operations Intern is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Basketball Operations department with the Grand Rapids Drive. The intern will work closely with the video coordinator, athletic trainer, strength coach, and other support staff to assist in all areas of basketball operations as required.

• Responsible for transporting players to and from practice
• Assisting with practice set-up, supporting coaching staff during practice, and helping with post-practice breakdown
• Managing equipment including laundering of practice and game uniforms, and packing for road trips
• Supporting video coordinator in creating film edits for coaching staff
• Assisting strength coach as needed during team lifts
• Assisting head athletic training with training room set-up and breakdown
• Helping general manager and front office with any projects as needed

Requirements:

• Completed bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience working with a professional or college basketball team
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and related software skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of energy
