Utah Prep Sports Academy (formerly Real Salt Lake or RSL Basketball) in Farmington, Utah (Salt Lake Area) is accepting applications for the position(s) of Boys Head Varsity (Gold) Basketball Coach AND Program Assistant Coach. Both positions are excellent opportunities to gain valuable experience needed to pursue a career in athletics. Head Varsity (Gold) Coach:

This position will oversee and be responsible for all aspects of our Varsity Gold Basketball Team. This team consists of high school players looking to develop and earn opportunities at the college level. The team plays primarily against other prep schools in the western United States.

Program Assistant Coach:

This position will assist the Program Director in providing coaching support to all teams within the program, which could include our National Varsity Team, Varsity Gold Team, Post Grad Team, and Middle School Skill Development Program.

Primary duties may include:

• Housing supervision
• Filming/Video Breakdown
• On court instruction
• Individual skill development
• Statistics
• Assist head coaches with practices and games
• Equipment Management
• Transportation (often 6-10 hour road trips to events)
• Daily Basketball Operations
• Occasional Academic Tutoring

Qualifications:

• Age 21 or Older
• Previous experience working in Athletics
• Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
• Clean Driving Record and Current Drivers License
• Ability to Pass Background Check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former college basketball Player or Manager

• • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited College or University

• Previous Coaching experience
• Desire to work in College/High School athletics

Compensation:

• Stipend
